In this issue we include a piece on our Vintassion Road Trip to Cornwall, when last Sunday we spent an enjoyable day at Crocadon Courtyard Brocante buying some lovely Christmas gifts and chatting to many of the fab Stallholders - we certainly plan to return there again in 2014 :-)

Our Uncovered Vintassion Seller in this issue is Marelle Vintage who strives to give their customers quality and often unique vintage pieces like this stunning brooch currently on sale for £10 or best offer...
On the face of it, it looks like a dangle brooch that is damaged, but the paint is actually a distressed enamel effect, which is the way it is meant to be. It is in fact an Elox brooch. Elox is electrolytic oxidisation of aluminium that gives the brooch its very silvery look. Jewellery treated this way will have ‘Elox or Elux’ stamped on the back. This process was developed during WWII by Eastern Europeans probably in Poland to conserve silver for the War effort.
If you would like to view "more" unique pieces just click on Marelle Vintage Vintassion Stall logo below, and keep on visiting as they will be expanding their range in the coming weeks with some lovely collectables ideal for Christmas gifts...

We couldn’t resist visiting the inaugural Crocadon Courtyard Brocante last Sunday, whilst on a weekend break visiting family and friends in Devon & Cornwall. We were amazed to find a buzzing Brocante in a unique setting of an 130 acre 12th Century farm, restored courtyard and stable block located in Cornwall’s beautiful countryside, yet only few miles from the City of Plymouth in Devon.
We thoroughly enjoyed browsing lots of lovely vintage, antiques, bric-a-brac and craft Stalls...
and also a live Auction...
plus musical entertainment...
For lots more lovely photos including our favourite item at the Brocante. a lovely rope handled storage box with an original vintage label visit our Vintassion Road Trip facebook album
