Daily favourites

Festival of Vintage preview


Here's a date for your 2014 diary - the next "Festival of Vintage" taking place over the weekend of the 26th and 27th April at York Racecourse.  If you haven't visited this massive indoor vintage festival before then pencil it in because it is the ultimate vintage festival celebrating vintage music, vintage fashion, and vintage life in the 1930's to the 1960s.


The Festival of Vintage is organised by Discover Vintage and is packed with a great lineup of: Live Music & DJs; Dancing, including free lessons in Swing, Jive, Lindy Hop and more; Vintage Fashion Parades from the glam 30s to the swinging 60s; Homes & Interiors; Make Do & Mend Corner full of vintage inspiration and workshops you can enroll on and learn new skills; Collectors' Corner giving you the opportunity to see some amazing collections; fabulous Vintage Vehicle Displays, and much more! The event is already nearly fully booked with some 120 vintage traders from across the UK selling quality Vintage Fashion, Records, Furniture and Home Items from the 1930s through to the 1960s, in addition to 'vintage inspired' and craft stalls; so there will also be plenty of opportunity to shop!  Here's another montage showcasing items from previous Festival of Vintage events to help whet your appetite, just click to see more...
