Gloucester Goes Retro Festival 10/08/2015
Already well over 1,000 visitors have joined this FREE Fab Festival on facebook, where the 4 pedestrian gate streets of Gloucester go back in time to a different era, overflowing with nostalgia with some 150 classic cars/vehicles, vintage fashion and music...

...and Kings Square hosting an amazing Vintage Fair with some 50 stalls plus a great line-up of live vintage-inspired entertainment, including fabulous singing acts like, Betsy Harmony, Rachel Lea, Anne Martin, Madam Merlot, Blitz Time Sally, and, Kitty Ribbons performing family friendly burlesque...
UK Champions Gary and Sara Boon from Gloster Jive & Swing Dance will also be entertaining everyone dancing 20s, 30s & 40s, and running taster dance classes for those wishing to join in and enjoy...
In case you need directions the Town Crier will be dressed as an old fashioned policeman sat on the cross and directing people towards the Vintage Fair. In fact the whole community of Gloucester is getting involved in the event including entertainment throughout the city centre in pubs/bars, even Barclays Bank is having a disco!
Having visited and traded at Hels Belles Boutique’s very popular regular Vintage & Craft Fair Gloucester (the next is 26th September) held at Blackfriars Priory...
...they are by themselves pretty amazing, what with their treasure trove of offerings and terrific live entertainment. So Gloucester Goes Retro Festival is certainly a not be missed Bank Holiday weekend event for all the family to enjoy!
