This website is the property of Vintassion LLP.   We take the privacy of all users of the website very seriously and therefore set out in this Privacy Policy our position regarding certain privacy matters.

Our website uses HTTPS (connection security SSL Certificate), as shown by the green padlock to the left of the web address  This ensures that all information sent and received is cryptographically encrypted between users and our website server, which is held in a UK based data centre that provides a premium environment equipped with up-to-date fire and security systems. 

This Privacy Policy covers all personal data that is shared by a user (including Registered Sellers, Customers, Newsletter Subscribers and Event Organisers) with us or not with us whether directly via   or for example via email.  We may update this Privacy Policy from time-to-time by posting a new version on our website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes.  This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of publication 24th May 2018.

Our Privacy Policy provides an explanation as to what happens to any personal data that you share with us, or that we collect from you either directly via this website or for example via email.

- information that you provide by filling in forms on our website, such as, when you register for a Seller’s Account or request to receive information, sign-up for our Newsletters, or make a payment for a Service or Item; 

- we gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our weekly Newsletter (this can be unsubscribed at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the Newsletter); and,

- information provided to us when you communicate with us for any reason that is relevant to the services we offer.

On occasion, we may gather information about your computer for our services and to provide statistical information regarding the use of our website to our advertisers.

Such information will not identify you personally it is statistical data about our users and their use of our website. This statistical data does not identify any personal details whatsoever. It is used by us to analyse how users to  interact with the website so that we can continue to develop this website and make it a better experience for our users.

- if you are a Registered Seller, Customer, or Event Organiser, we may contact you with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale to you.

Such information will be limited to that appropriate for the purposes required and held no longer than necessary. 
Our sharing of Customer information with Registered Sellers and vice-a-versa will be limited to that appropriate to facilitate the browsing and buying of vintage, retro, or upcycled goods and services. 

We will not without your express consent provide your personal information to any third parties for the purpose of direct marketing.

Please be advised that we do not reveal information about identifiable individuals to our advertisers but we may, on occasion, provide them with aggregate statistical information about our users.

All our website financial transactions are handled through our payment services provider, PayPal. You can review PayPal’s privacy policy at . We will share information with PayPal only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing payments you make via our website and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments.

Storing Your Personal Data

We may transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Economic Area for processing and storing. Also, it may be processed by staff operating outside the European Economic Area who work for us or for one of our suppliers. For example, such staff maybe engaged in the processing and concluding of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services.   By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. The General Data Protection Requlation gives you the right to view, amend or delete the personal information that we hold  about you.  In most cases we will not charge for complying with access requests except for those that are manifestly unfounded or excessive.  Should you wish to receive details that we hold about you please request using the contact details below and we will acknowledge receipt of your request and respond within one month.
